photo sessions — visual artists

photographs that put you in the world of your art.

You spend your working life thinking about how things look. Your portrait should reflect that, an image that actually communicates something about how you see, what you make, and the aesthetics of the world you work in.

We’ll think through the context together: your studio, your materials, your process. Whether you want something clean and editorial or something that puts you in the middle of the work, we’ll build the frame around what your practice actually looks like.

I’ve photographed painters, sculptors, photographers, and performance artists in Hamilton, Toronto, and southern Ontario. As an artist portrait photographer, I love figuring out how each practice translates differently into a frame. Every practice is different, and every portrait should be too.
